Hornblower Niagara Cruises Visitor Journey
Hornblower Niagara Cruises have enhanced regular operations based on guidance from health authorities. These new measures are designed to promote: Cleanliness, Physical Distancing and Reduced Contact. Guest and crew well-being top one priority, and recent circumstances have only reinforced and strengthened their commitment to providing the best possible experience from start to finish. New safety measures including new entry and boarding requirements include:
Face Masks Required
All guests ages 3 and older are required to wear face coverings when on the premises and on-board the boats. Face masks are available for purchase on-site. Timed Ticketing
To manage guest capacity and ensure social distancing, we have implemented timed ticketing. Purchase tickets in advance to reserve your boat time (choose a time slot that suits you best; 9 am – 11 am, 11 am – 1 pm, 1 pm – 3 pm, 3 pm – 5:30 pm). Physical distancing markers have been implemented in the queue lines. Guest Health Screening
Guests will undergo temperature checks and health screening prior to being permitted on Hornblower Niagara Cruises’ premises. Reduced Capacity
Boat capacity will be reduced by 50% or as directed by government regulators. Hand sanitizer will be available throughout the premises and on the boats. Focus on Sanitization
Increased cleaning frequency for high-contact areas has been implemented. Washroom facilities will be sanitized throughout the operating day. Boat handrails will be sanitized after every voyage to the falls. Tables and chairs will be sanitized after each use in our food and beverage patio. Elevators
Will be loaded with one family or one group of people traveling together at a time. The elevators operate automatically and require zero guest contact. Funicular
Will be loaded at a reduced capacity with plexiglass dividers between guests. The funicular is touch free and requires zero guest contact. Crew Member Health Checks
A Health Check will be conducted for each employee at the start of their shift. Each employee will be required to wear approved PPE, practice increased hygiene and use sanitization products.
